With the widespread use of plastic-coated steel pipes in current industrial projects, we will conduct more comprehensive and safer construction procedures.

1. During transportation, loading and unloading, and on-site construction, plastic-coated steel pipes must not be thrown or subjected to violent impacts.

2. Plastic-coated steel pipes should not be buried in reinforced concrete structures.

3. The installation of plastic-coated steel pipes should proceed gradually from larger diameters to smaller diameters, and the pipe ends should be sealed promptly.

4. Welding is prohibited during the installation of plastic-coated steel pipes.

5. When installing plastic-coated steel pipes, if the pipe diameter is not greater than DN50, a pipe bending machine can be used for cold bending, but the bending radius must not be less than 8 times the pipe diameter, and the bending angle must not exceed 10°.

Furthermore, plastic-coated steel pipes are not insulated pipes. Many people may see that plastic-coated steel pipes are steel pipes coated with a thicker layer of plastic than the original steel pipe and subconsciously assume that they have an insulation effect. This understanding is incorrect. While plastic-coated steel pipes are thicker than ordinary steel pipes, they do not have the function of heat preservation. The main features of plastic-coated steel pipes are their anti-corrosion and environmental protection effects, which make the steel pipes have a longer service life and ensure the stability of the medium transported inside the steel pipes.
